What to study

Quirks are the one creation choice the game will not fully explain: the list reads like a dare (Asshole, Brittle Bones, Fainting Goat sit beside Ascetic and Delayed Gratification), the selected quirk gets a story paragraph and a green benefit, and the drawback is printed as ?????, hidden until the player lives with it. That asymmetry is the design point, a benefit you can plan around and a cost you discover, and the screen is honest about the deal by showing the hidden field rather than omitting it.
