What to study

Death in Helldivers 2 is presented as paperwork. One banner delivers the verdict (ELIMINATED, in the game's hazard-stripe red), the line under it assigns responsibility, 'Killed by A-Aaronson', a teammate, which is why this is the friendly-fire section of the trailer, and the right edge settles the estate: DROPPED, one Defender rifle, drawn as the gun's silhouette so the loss is an object, not a stat. The body diagram at bottom centre is the damage model's confession: four limb icons, all red, because in this game you do not lose hit points in the abstract, you lose the use of specific limbs, and the diagram shows all of them gone at once. Nothing here asks you to press anything; the screen's only forward motion is the reinforce count (20) waiting at top left, which is the squad's problem now, not yours.
