What to study

Wargroove ships a cutscene editor, and its timeline is deliberately plain: a left rail lists actor cues (Sigrid: B6, Sedge: B3) and transitions (Fade In) as text rows, while the canvas shows the resulting scene, so custom-campaign authors sequence dialogue and movement the way they would order a playlist. The New/Edit/Back/Move verbs at the bottom are the whole toolset, which is why player-made campaigns can match the shipped ones. Frame at about 1:25 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).
