What to study
Wargroove's dialogue is a comic-style bubble, not a bottom text box: a coloured nameplate tab identifies the speaker, the bubble's tail points at Mercia, and the scene behind stays fully visible, so conversation plays out on the same stage as the story art. Even a one-word line ('Ragna?') shows the whole pattern, because the nameplate, bubble and staging carry the design, not the text length. Frame at about 1:34 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).
