What to study

The multiplayer lobby reads as four equal team columns, not a player list: each column pairs a player name with a commander sprite and a Ready/Not Ready state, while the invite code sits alone at the top so a friend can join without navigating menus. The host column adds Commander and Leave actions, and Match Settings stays visible at the bottom, so setup and readiness live on one screen. Frame at about 1:01 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).
