What to study
Every part on a KSP craft is a small control panel waiting for a right-click. Landed on the Mun, this relay craft's RA-100 antenna opens its own menu - a floating card with an orange title bar that reports the part's state like an engineer's checklist (Antenna State: Idle; Rating: 100G, Combinable) and offers its verbs as a stack of teal buttons: Aim Camera, Transmit Data, Require Complete, plus the structural toggles (Autostrut, Rigid Attachment) that live on every part. The part itself glows green behind the card so there is never doubt about which object the panel belongs to - in a craft of two hundred parts, the menu's first job is identification. The whole game's depth hides in this pattern: no global systems screens, just hundreds of these little cards, one per part, all using the same grammar. Frame at about 0:25 in the CommNet Trailer (Steam), a scene-change survivor (v1_0003).
