What to study
Inspection mode is the core loop made visible: the entrant's visa is dragged over the open rulebook, the matching rule pops out as a callout ('All Kolechians must be searched'), and the footer switches to HIGHLIGHT DISCREPANCIES, turning a player's suspicion into a formal accusation. Two documents overlapping on one desk replace a compare screen, the cross-check is spatial and tactile, not menu-driven. Frame at about 1:22 in the Papers, Please Trailer (Steam).
