What to study

A shop screen built as a conversation with the shopkeeper standing in the middle of it. The Shipwright is not a menu backdrop but a full-height painted portrait, wrench in hand, and the interface arranges itself around her: to her left, her stock and services, an equipment tab bar (rods, engines, nets, lights) over a slot-grid of the rods you own, one ringed in red, and a priced 'Repair All [$0.00]' action; to her right, your own cargo hold with its CARGO/STORAGE tabs, boat stats and Damage squares, so what you have and what she can do to it are on screen at the same time and gear can be compared without leaving the conversation. She keeps talking while you browse: her dialogue box runs along the bottom with the keyword 'crimson glow' coloured magenta inside the sentence, the game's standing way of flagging the words that matter, and the ordinary sailing HUD (clock, compass, money) never leaves the top of the screen. The prompts at bottom right show the screen's second job: this is also the repair and refit station, with 'Enter Repair Mode [RT]' and 'Return to Town [B]' offered beside the shop's own 'Repair All [Y]'. Frame at about 0:19 in the DREDGE: Complete Edition Trailer (Steam), manually extracted at 18.9s: the scene-change pass caught the screen at 17.5s while her line was still typing, and by 18.9s the sentence is complete ('...did you see it?'), so the settled frame was pulled by hand. No publisher burn-in, logo or caption appears in the frame; every element described is game UI.
