What to study
The promotion screen the first pass set did not have: where the Mortal Choice panel decides a hero's fate and the Gear Upgrades screen outfits a hero, this draft decides what a hero can do. Promotion is presented as a reward, the banner announces the new class, the scroll narrates the growth, and then the game asks the player to choose one of three abilities, each card carrying its full rules text, so the choice is made on mechanics, not art. Spiritblade, Indignance and Compulsion are three different Mystic playstyles in one row: buffing allies near interfused objects, punishing enemies that approach, or seizing an enemy's movement. Frame at about 0:38.5 in the Launch Trailer (Steam; fine extraction fine/v0-promo-010.png), inspected at full resolution (1920x1080); all three cards, the banner and the scroll legible; no trailer text or marketing overlay in frame. Held as the first alternate in the Phase-1 review, admitted on second pass for genuinely new ability-draft coverage.

Screen inventory
- the top of the screen is a narrative scroll: Malloc has grown stronger, and the prose explains that as a Mystic he has acquired the knack for interfusing his spirit with earthly things, drawing on these bonds to enact formidable magics, beside a painted portrait of Malloc holding a wooden staff
- a teal banner across the middle reads Malloc Moon is now a Greenhorn Mystic, with a row of star pips above it, the first star gold and the rest dark
- below the banner, headed Choose an Ability, sit three arched cards, each with a plus button at its top corner: Spiritblade, Indignance and Compulsion
- each card names its type and effect in full: Spiritblade is Passive/Active and grants nearby allies +1 damage beside an interfused object, and interfused blazes can grant fiery attacks; Indignance is Passive and deals 1 true damage to hostile creatures entering adjacency, at Damage: 1 + 1/3 Potency; Compulsion is Active and briefly interfuses with an enemy to force it to move where Malloc pleases
- the draft panel covers most of the frame; behind its edges a camp scene peeks through, firewood at upper left and a fragment of green battle text at the left edge, the underlying scene, not part of the draft
