What to study
Stacklands builds a village builder out of a card table: the board is the village, the shop is a row of pack slots built into the board's top edge, and the tutorial is a quest checklist that pays out in new packs. Nothing here is a menu you leave the game to visit, quests, economy, inventory and population all sit on the same green surface at once, and a stack of cards is drawn as a literal pile, header strips accumulating as the pile grows. Frame at about 0:16 in the gameplay_trailer (Steam; scene-change survivor v0_0002).

Screen inventory
- the whole village is one bordered card table on a doodled meadow: a green board with a black pack strip across its top, a Sell slot with a coin glyph, the Humble Beginnings pack priced at 3 coins, then six black slots marked ??? for packs not yet unlocked, so the shop is a row of card-shaped holes in the board itself
- the left panel is tabbed Quests / Ideas; the Quests tab shows the Starter set as a checklist with four hand-ticked boxes, Open the Booster Pack, Drag the Villager on top of the Berry Bush, Punch a Rock, Sell a Card, and a progress line underneath: Complete 5 more quests to unlock a new Pack!, making quests the pack-unlock currency
- cards read in stacks: the orange Berry card shows three Berry header strips above its strawberry icon because three berries are piled there, and the dark Tree card carries a Villager strip at its head, stacking is drawn literally, each added card extending the pile's header
- the top-right status cluster is three terse counters and a clock: 3/2 villagers, 1 coin, 7/20 cards, and a Moon 1 bar with a play button, the moon is the turn timer, and the card count is a hard board limit
- a cream toast at bottom right closes the loop the checklist opened: Quest Completed, Open the Booster Pack, with the cursor already moving to dismiss it
