What to study
Progression in Stacklands is bought as booster packs and opened by hand on the board: coins from selling cards buy the foil pack, the pack spills new cards onto the same table, and the loop never leaves the surface. Making the pack a chunk of foil with a set name and a stack count of its own, three waiting in a pile, turns the shop into another card in the system it feeds. Frame at about 0:29 in the gameplay_trailer (Steam; scene-change survivor v0_0005, the trailer zooms in on the pack for this beat; the crop at the frame edges is that zoom, disclosed in the elements).

Screen inventory
- the pack is a physical object on the table: a black foil booster with serrated edges, the Stacklands wordmark, a white line-art village emblem and Humble Beginnings as its set name, a trading-card pack, not a shop button
- an orange starburst badge on its corner counts 3, the packs stack too: three unopened Humble Beginnings sit in one pile, and the white-gloved hand cursor rests on the foil, caught at the moment of opening
- around it the economy it feeds: a three-high Berry stack with its two corner counters (food value 1, sell value 1 printed on the card itself) and the Villager card with its heart-5, every card carries its price and use on its face, so the board is its own shop catalogue
