What to study

A scenario's crowd, authored as demographics: the Guests tab of the Scenario Editor exposes the simulation's dials directly, how attractive the park is to Adults (49%), Teenagers (29%) and Families (22%) as a bar chart, whether each group arrives alone or in parties as a single slider, and how often guests spawn with each of fifteen named traits, from Thrill Seeker and Coaster Head to Litterbug and Stingy, each set with one dropdown. It is the deepest screen in the set because it treats the guest population itself as design material: change the trait mix and the same park plays differently. The presentation stays deliberately plain, percentages, bars and dropdowns, because this tab is a control panel for a simulation, not a report. Frame at about 0:50 in the Anniversary Update video (Steam), a manual probe extraction (probes/anniv-p49.5.png at 49.5s).

  • left, DEMOGRAPHICS as two percentage fields, Guest Happiness Rate 100%, Park Attractiveness Multiplier 100%, over PARK ATTRACTIVENESS, a three-bar chart of who will visit: Adults 49% (blue), Teenagers 29% (coral), Family 22% (green), each group with its own icon of figures
  • below, DEMOGRAPHICS SEGREGATION as two Single-to-Group sliders: Adults 33% single / 67% group on a blue track, Teenagers 43% / 57% on a red track, party composition set as one draggable proportion per group
  • right, GUEST TRAITS: a toggle for 'Chance that a guest will spawn with a Trait' set to 10%, a preset picker, then GUEST TRAITS - SPAWN CHANCE, a fifteen-row table (Wealthy, Poor, Thrill Seeker, Scaredy-Cat, Single Minded, Indecisive, Lazy, Roaming, Coaster Head, Big Spender, Stingy, Patient, Impatient, Litterbug, Hungry), every row an icon, a plain-language trait name and a Medium dropdown
  • the same editor frame as the other Scenario Editor tabs, eight tabs across the top, the pirate park live on the left, the building toolbar along the bottom, so the guest simulation is edited in the same place as the goals and the ride list
