What to study

Battles in Battlegrounds are asynchronous and automated, you build the settlement and warband, then watch the fight your choices bought. The battle HUD is built for spectating: a tug bar at bottom centre tracks which side is winning, playback-speed arrows let the viewer hurry or linger, and the two players watch from the bottom corners as painted portraits with their ability diamonds beside them. Information stays dense but readable, per-unit health bars, colour-coded damage numbers, territory hex badges with garrison counts, and the ROUND 10, AUTUMN banner keeping the season in view. The trailer's framing crops the leftmost resource chip at the frame edge; everything else reads clean. Frame at about 0:48 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).
