What to study
Between rounds, Battlegrounds deals three Fate cards and asks for one pick, and the draft screen keeps the whole match frame visible around the choice: the season track up top (ROUND 1, SPRING), the player's Lore and Kröwns at top right, and their portrait, ability icons and empty card slots along the bottom. The cards themselves carry the game's keyword system in plain sight, CIVILIAN, TOWER and UNIT are colour-coded in the text, costs sit on black ribbons (4 Lore for the cheap Blessing, 32 for the stronger pair), and a reroll chip under the trio prices a redraw at 4 Lore, so passing on all three is a costed decision too. Frame at about 0:26 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).

Screen inventory
- three full cards side by side, each with a Lore cost on a black ribbon: 'Call to Peace' (BLESSING, 4), reduce the cost of all CIVILIAN structures by 1 Kröwn; 'Town Watch' (BLESSING, 32), each TOWER gains 10% Action Speed per adjacent CIVILIAN; 'Heavy Plate' (RUNE, 32), target UNIT gains 150 Armor and 2 Ward
- a season track across the top centre with wolf and helmet icons over a painted landscape, captioned 'ROUND 1, SPRING'
- the player's frame persists around the draft: crown and progress pips top left, building counts (5/8, 7/8, 1/3) under them, 4 Lore and 11 Kröwns top right beside a settings gear
- a reroll chip at bottom centre offering a redraw for 4 Lore, an eye icon under it, and a large round advance button at bottom right
- the drafting player's portrait at bottom left, TechnoViking, axe raised, with three pink ability icons and a row of empty card slots
