What to study

Battlegrounds introduces each clan the way a fighting game introduces a fighter: the painted hero strikes a pose at the left while a gold ribbon banner names the clan, STAG CLAN, with its stag sigil in a shield, and stamps its two defining traits underneath as icon chips, RESILIENCE and BUILDER. The presentation stays layered over the living settlement rather than cutting to a menu, and the detail that gives the shot its second job is the translucent green building ghost standing in the grass at right: even mid-introduction, the game is already showing the placement step of its build phase. Frame at about 0:15 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).

Screen inventory

• a gold ribbon banner across the lower third: a stag sigil in a shield at left and 'STAG CLAN' in large white capitals
• two trait chips under the banner, each a dark circle with a gold icon: 'RESILIENCE' and 'BUILDER'
• the clan's hero at left in painted 2D, blond braided warrior with a raised greatsword and a round wooden shield, layered over the 3D settlement
• the settlement behind the banner: longhouses, a watchtower, a stone well and a golden shrine, with a translucent green placement ghost showing where a new building will land
