What to study

The mid-run state the other two HUD frames bracket: the build is half formed (four of six ability slots filled, item counts accumulating), the difficulty reads Agony 0 against the late frame's Agony IV, and the combat feedback layer is at its busiest, with floating damage numbers, pickup markers, and gold and skull counts ticking. It shows why the side rails are fixed chrome rather than popups: with this much damage text on screen, the player still needs level, pools, clock, and build state in exactly the same places every frame. No trailer burn-in, captions, or overlays are visible in this frame. Frame at about 0:35 (35.40s) in the Halls of Torment Gameplay video (Steam); scene-change frame v0_0008.
