What to study

The ship designer is a workbench, not a menu: the component catalog runs down the left as a scrolling list of weapons with small 3D thumbnails (Triton Torpedoes to Singularity Driver), the half-built Cruiser floats on a blueprint grid in the center, and the right rail is its spec sheet, class description ("A medium sized warship with support for multiple weapons"), construction and Elerium costs, combat and conquest ratings, hit points, moves, logistics, sensor range and maintenance. The equipment manifest bar at the bottom (22/35) makes the design a budget, not just a look. Trailer caption 'DESIGN NEW STARSHIPS' is burned across the lower center, over the blueprint grid only; no UI text is covered. Frame at 1:22 in September 2023 Gameplay Trailer (Steam).
