What to study
Raising an army is a seating chart: the boarding modal lists Available Citizens as portrait tiles, each with a role icon (research, manufacturing, food) and a mood face, against an almost empty Citizens Aboard column, with a single Board button between them. It is the game's citizen-as-resource idea made literal, citizens are picked by face and mood, not by a number. Trailer caption 'RAISE YOUR ARMIES' is burned across the bottom, covering the Cancel button; the panel is mostly empty black space, only one citizen is aboard. Frame at 1:12 in September 2023 Gameplay Trailer (Steam).
