What to study
The progression screen is the game's thesis drawn as one page: crime is a quest list. Five misdeeds, each tagged to a sin stat and written as a joke headline, pay out Perverse Points that convert on the same screen into raw stat upgrades with letter ranks, the Disgaea stat-raising loop, but the grind is framed as committing offences against a deadline with a limited crew of accomplices. Every number a player would alt-tab for is present at once: balance, EXP to next level, per-misdeed gains, conversion results, days left and crew slots. Frame at about 1:44 in the PreOrder Trailer video (Steam), a pipeline scene-change survivor (candidates/v0_0027.png at 104.2s). Pre-release development footage, the trailer's own footer notes the final version may differ.

Screen inventory
- header instruction in plain words: 'Perform Misdeeds to accumulate Perverse Points!', with the current balance (15) in a skull-crested chip at top-left
- left column: five misdeed cards, one per sin stat, Cruelty 'Drive like a maniac!', Malice 'Plan human eradication?', Wrath 'Go on a monster rampage!', Guile 'Start an illegal gambling ring!', Obsession 'Hack into something!', each LV 1, EXP TO NEXT LEVEL 14, tiny stat-gain icons and a 1-accomplice cost; the Malice card is mid-confirmation ('Will you proceed with this Misdeed?')
- centre: the payoff as speech-bubble callouts, Misdeed EXP Earned 8, Perverse Points Earned 119 pt(s), and an Upgrade Status panel converting points into stats: P. ATK +7 (Rank 77 G), P. DEF +1 (57 G), S. DEF +1 (57 G)
- right rail: a Deadline counter (30, day 1), Accomplices 1/5, and the assigned accomplice card (LV 3 Cruelty, Shiny Natsu) over empty slots; bottom-left totals the build: Total Misdeed Level 5
