What to study

Colonization is a two-layer decision: the Planet Report event behind the modal tells the story (a ruined civilization, a sacred bunker with an active missile defense system) and offers three choices, while the modal itself asks the blunt question, Colonize Planet?, with a planet thumbnail, an editable colony-name field already filled in as "We really made it", and Yes/No buttons. The dimming is the game's own modal stacking, not a transition: the report stays readable around the modal. Frame at 0:12 in September 2023 Gameplay Trailer (Steam).
