What to study

Combat framed as an encounter, not just a fight: the shop banner and the vendor portrait sit inside the combat HUD, so the player reads who they are fighting and where at the same time. The crew rail on the left doubles as party status, the segmented hull bars make damage countable at a glance, and END TURN plus the energy counter anchor the turn economy in the corners.
