What to study
Where most JRPGs hide the party in a bottom row, SMT V pins it to the right edge as a stack of identity cards. Each card is a whole character sheet in miniature: portrait, HP and MP as both bar and number, level, race (Protag, Fairy, Femme) and name, so the demon-collection premise of the series is visible in every battle, not just in the fusion menu. The race tag matters: demons are recruited by race and fused by race, so the card is doing taxonomy as well as bookkeeping. The active card lights green, and the rest of the HUD, Press Turn orbs, moon phase, Magatsuhi gauge, stays in the top bar where the other battle frames put it. Frame at about 1:14 in the An Ideal World Trailer (Steam). Disclosure: the left two-thirds of the frame is a skill-activation close-up of Nahobeeho, so the party panel is the catalog subject and the battlefield behind it is mostly obscured; no trailer caption or logo is in frame.

Screen inventory
- four party cards stack down the right edge, each with a portrait, a green HP bar and a yellow MP bar with numbers, a level, a race and a name: Nahobino Lv65 Protag (HP 402, MP 307), Nahobeeho Lv65 Fairy (HP 398, MP 166), Cleopatra Lv61 Femme (HP 306, MP 352) and Clotho Lv62 Femme (HP 333, MP 303)
- the active card is highlighted in green while the others sit on dark panels
- the top bar carries the same Press Turn cluster as the other battle frames: three blue orbs, '3 Action / Player Turn', Magatsuhi MAX, and the moon phase at '2/8'
- the skill banner at bottom centre reads 'Jack Tempest+5' over a close-up of Nahobeeho casting
