What to study
The Nexus Arena reads as a tactics board first and a brawler second: the hex grid is the whole play surface, the VS panel at top centre holds both team portraits and the timer, and the left-edge portrait stack keeps the roster in view while health bars and damage numbers float over the units. Nothing at the bottom demands attention mid-fight, so the grid itself stays the focus. Frame at about 82s in the Final Closed Beta Gameplay Showcase (YouTube).
