What to study

Wheels is Sea of Stars' tavern minigame, a slot machine re-skinned as a duel of collectible hero figurines, and the table lays its whole state out in one symmetrical tableau. The reels you spin sit at the top, the energy they feed gathers in the crowns at the centre, and attack-versus-wall arithmetic is printed on both flanks, so a spectator can follow a match without a tutorial. The near crown slipping out of the trailer's crop is the only flaw in an otherwise complete read of the board. Frame at 0:20.5 in the Dawn of Equinox trailer (manual extraction; the scene-change pass never fired inside the table sequence).
