What to study
The XCOM arithmetic, itemised: the game does not just give a percentage, it shows the receipt, high ground plus 25, in light plus 25, weapon base plus 10/50/20, special plus 30, adding to a 100% hit and an 80% crit against a level 40 Tank. The FIRE WEAPON bar adds the cost (this will end the turn), so the player weighs a guaranteed kill against losing the rest of the turn in one glance. Frame at 29.58s in the Launch Trailer (Steam); the scene-change frame at 29.08s carries the targeting camera zoom as a radial blur across the backdrop, so the keeper is taken after the zoom settles, with identical UI. No trailer burn-in, caption, or logo on this frame.
