What to study

Weapon modding as a workbench: the gun itself sits in 3D on the bench while the numbers live in the stat block beside it, and the empty attachments list says NO ITEMS rather than hiding, so an empty slot reads as a slot waiting to be filled, not a missing panel. The flavour text gives the silent crossbow a provenance (confiscated from a Ghoul by Chronicler Eli) in the same breath as its stats. Manual ffmpeg extract at 66.0s in What is Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden (Steam); the scene-change pass missed this shot. No trailer burn-in, caption, or logo on this frame.

Funcom Video Use Policy, dated August 26, 2016, https://www.funcom.com/video-use-policy/ (PDF: https://cdn.funcom.com/legal/VideoUse.pdf; page verified live 2026-11-06): Funcom Oslo AS permits free or ad-supported videos (Let's Plays, Twitch streams, walkthroughs, speed runs, reviews, commentary, educational use) using captured or streamed video from all video games Funcom publishes, which includes Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden (Funcom is the publisher). Conditions: no pre-release footage (not applicable, released Dec 4, 2018); no objectionable content; credit with a functional link to Funcom's site or the game's product page plus the notice '© Funcom Oslo AS'; trademarks only to describe that the video is about the game; no use of Funcom logos; commercial use of art/music/audio outside captured in-game footage needs written permission (legal@funcom.com). Funcom's General Community Guidelines (updated June 1, 2025), section 5 Streaming, say the same in shorter form: individuals may stream, post and monetize gameplay with creative input and their own gameplay, without misrepresenting affiliation. No The Bearded Ladies-specific policy found (searched 2026-11-06). Partial fit: the policy covers gameplay videos by individual users, not stills from official trailers on a fan study site. Fair-use fallback for Phase-2: frames are stills from the official Steam trailers, each with a study note (commentary), unofficial, not endorsed, copyright (c) The Bearded Ladies / Funcom, takedown honoured within 48h.
