What to study

Select the Marketplace and the village itself becomes the report. Every burgage roof is tinted by how well the market reaches it, green for supplied, yellow-green for partial, red for the houses out at the edges, and each house carries a strip of tiny goods icons above its roofline showing exactly what arrives there. The panel underneath practises the opposite virtue, compression: MARKET SUPPLY & DEMAND as three percentages (Fuel 95%, Food variety 95%, Clothing 96%), Free stall locations counted at 9, and a STORAGE section honest enough to read 'Nothing stored inside.' The hovered list does the itemising the percentages hide, Berries 53, Meat 44, Bread 56, Eggs 53, Vegetables 56, Apples 46, Honey 45, because food variety is counted in kinds, not calories. Nothing about the frame leaves the map it describes: the panel floats over the snow-covered Nusslohe it audits, top bar, lord's portrait and season dial all still in place, because in this game supply is a geography problem before it is a numbers problem. Frame at about 0:52 in the Launch Trailer video (Steam), pipeline candidate v0_0012 at 52.3s.
