What to study

Permanent progression becomes a tarot hand: the Arcana grid holds 25 cards (the sequel's answer to the Mirror of Night, hades-1), each awakened or locked card glowing or greyed, and the selected XII DEATH is enlarged at the centre of the altar circle while a tooltip explains the passive it grants, +1 Death Defiance, restoring 40% and Magick when you fall to 0, with limited uses per night. Two budgets run the screen instead of the Mirror's one: Ash pays per unlock (this card costs 25, the wallet reads x100120) and Grasp caps how many cards can be awake at once (4 / 10), so the list becomes a deck-building choice, not a shopping list. Frame at about 1:46 in the v1.0 Showcase (Steam), manually extracted at 106s: the scene-change pass emitted no frame for this settled screen (menus fade in under the gt(scene,0.35) threshold, as with Hades I).
