What to study
Permanent progression is a single framed list you can read like a bank statement: twelve talents in fixed rows, each showing what it gives now (+30% Shadow Presence, +40% Boiling Blood) and what the next rank costs in Darkness (25, 80, 90, up to 500), with finished talents simply reading MAX and the wallet, 10,660 Darkness, sitting at the head of the panel where every price is judged against it. The selected talent explains itself in a tooltip card at the right (Boiling Blood: bonus damage to foes with a Cast in them, +10% per rank), and the whole grid lives inside a skeletal mirror flanked by skulls, so the meta-progression screen is still an object in Zagreus's bedroom rather than a detached menu. Frame at about 1:45 in the v1.0 Gameplay Showcase (Steam), manually extracted at 104.5s: the scene-change pass emitted no frame for this screen. Caveat: the Showcase's burned-in segment headline ('Grow Permanently Stronger') crosses the top of the frame above the panel; every talent row, value and cost is legible below it.
