What to study

Ship design puts the fantasy and the spreadsheet on one screen: the hull render sits between a structure sheet (class, size, role, bonuses, construction and upkeep costs) and a statistics panel that splits attack into projectile and energy and scores range bands separately (Long 80 percent, Medium and Short 100 percent). The module grid above the hull is the actual build action, eight weapon slots that make the numbers on the right change. Frame at about 126.5s in the First Look US trailer (Steam).
