What to study

The galaxy map reads as a network, not a picture: white constellation lines join star systems, and the selected Leran system sits inside a solid red influence disc, so territory is a visible shape rather than a border claim. The top-left panel keeps the empire economy in one glance (Dust, population, influence, each with its per-turn change), and the bottom fleet bar turns the selected fleet into an action (1st Patriots Navy, 1/4 ships, 6/6 command points, with merge and disband controls). Frame at about 28.5s in the First Look US trailer (Steam).
