What to study

Dungeon Inn's whole double life fits on one screen, because the screen is built as a mirror. The Manage Inn panel draws the inn as a hillside cross-section and splits it down the middle: Seaside Guild Lodge in blue on the left, Mountain Guild Lodge in green on the right, each with its own Room band, Facilities band and six-row stat column, so the two rivals you are secretly housing are compared by the layout before you read a single number. The columns even argue in different tenses, Seaside shows absolutes (+111 crowns expected) while Mountain carries small orange deltas (+37, +7, +8) beside its figures, yesterday's growth riding next to today's total. Work happens through the bottom strip: click a tile in the hill (the cursor is on a Mountain room priced at 3 green gems) and its card, its Lodging Bonus ledger, including the honest skull line, −1 ~ −2 (5%), the risk priced as a range, and its expansion terms (Lv.2, 3 tokens, one orange 'Click to expand') assemble into a single decision with nothing hidden behind another tab. Frame at 0:30.08 in the TGS trailer (Steam), a scene-change survivor (v1_0012.png).

Screen inventory

  • the two rival lodges face off across one hillside diagram: a blue chevron banner 'Seaside Guild Lodge' (fish crest, pink progress bar) at left, a green chevron 'Mountain Guild Lodge' (peak crest) at right, the inn's cross-section silhouette between them split into Room (upper) and Facilities (lower) bands per side
  • each lodge's stat column prices the operation in the same six rows: beds (Seaside 7, Mountain 6), 'Max daily expected amount' with a crown (+111 vs +83), then skull, antler, crossed-keys and mask icons (+17/+22/+24 and +14/+18/+19) and cutlery last (+12 vs +10); Mountain's column carries small orange delta figures (+2 beds, +37 crowns, +6/+7/+8/+3) beside its totals
  • room tiles in the cross-section are plain interior thumbnails with bed icons; facility tiles carry their upgrade price as a gem chip (blue gems on the Seaside side: 4, 6, 3, 3, 3; green on Mountain: 3, 5, 3, 5, 4, 2, 3), and the cursor sits on the Mountain tile priced 3, labelled 'Regular Ro[om]'
  • a 'Menu Recommendation 8% +3' card floats at each lodge's outer edge, a standing bonus offer pinned to the lodge it modifies
  • the bottom detail strip is a three-part transaction: the selected tile's card ('Regular Room (2 people)', interior art, and the copy 'A room where two people can stay. It's a fairly typical room. A reasonable option for adventurers who consider both cost and the value of sleep.'), a 'Lodging Bonus:' ledger (bed → 2, crown → +15, antlers → +2, skull → −1 ~ −2 (5%)), and the commitment block, a wide orange 'Click to expand' button over 'Unlock Conditions: Lv.2' and 'Required Tokens: 3'
  • chrome is minimal: 'Manage Inn' title centred, three circular level badges (11/11/11) top-left, three currency counters top-right (blue gem 20, green gem 27, gold token 4), 'esc Close' bottom-left
