What to study
The inn is the Kingdoms base, and its Barracks track shows how Red Hook teaches a whole upgrade system in one panel: gold node icons in tiers, a selected node (Physician) highlighted, and a plain-language payoff panel explaining that the bolstered militia can now carry trinkets and combat items. The hero portrait on the left keeps the building personal, while the shared inventory grid and four-currency row on the right tie every upgrade back to the same scarce resources. No trailer burn-in or caption overlays the frame. Frame at about 30s in the Kingdoms Launch Trailer (Steam).
