What to study
The quest window of a fictional MMO, used here for the developers' own joke: the LVL 42 quest on offer is 'Create Second Trailer', 'It has been well over a year now. Finish that new trailer already!', and this panel appears inside the very trailer it demands. Joke aside, the layout is the game's real quest grammar, and it is pure MMO bookkeeping. Objectives are a checklist with checkboxes, the main goal over four indented grey sub-rows, and the important phrases are coloured yellow inside otherwise white text so the eye lands on 'new stuff', 'New Areas', 'Quest Dialog', 'Regular Trees', 'Laser Bridges' without reading the sentences around them. Rewards are priced before commitment in a single row, EXP 2596 (with the honest footnote '*AT CURRENT LEVEL'), Fame x 99, and 9001 credits, an over-9000 gag hiding in a currency field, and the decision is two stacked slabs, Accept over Decline, under the panel rather than inside it. The level badge sits in the header where a player checks it first. Frame at about 1:07 in the CrossCode Trailer 0.7 (Steam), a manual extraction at 67.25s (the scene-change pass missed the whole 66–72s menu sequence), inspected at full resolution (1920x1080).

Screen inventory
- panel header: a document icon at left, the quest title 'Create Second Trailer', and a 'LVL 42' badge at top right
- the quest giver's brief in plain text: 'It has been well over a year now. Finish that new trailer already!'
- objective checklist: a main checkbox 'Make sure to include all the new stuff' (key phrase picked out in yellow) over four grey sub-rows, each with its own checkbox, 'Include New Areas', 'Include Quest Dialog', 'Only Regular Trees', 'All the Laser Bridges', every key phrase again in yellow
- rewards row under an envelope icon: 'EXP 2596*', 'Fame x 99' and a credit icon with '9001', footnoted '*AT CURRENT LEVEL'
- two stacked buttons below the panel: 'Accept' over 'Decline'; the panel floats over a dimmed town scene (brick wall, potted plants, a sliver of navigation widget at the left edge)

Fetched 2026-10-23. verified 2026-10-23: frame is a manual extraction (manual-quest-67_25.png @ 67.25s) from the curl-shim download of the CrossCode Trailer 0.7 (Steam), inspected visually at full resolution; 'Create Second Trailer' title, LVL 42 badge, all four checklist sub-rows, EXP 2596* / Fame x 99 / 9001 rewards and the Accept / Decline buttons all confirmed visible and legible; the trailer's 'WITH QUESTING AND CHARACTER BUILDING' title card (about 65–66.75s) has fully cleared by this frame and does not overlay it; the quest's meta text is the game's own in-game joke quest, not trailer editing
