What to study

The same battle HUD, stripped to its essentials by the arena: against a lone boss in a white void, the panel, AUTO toggle, target arrow, ATB bars and top-left run icon are the whole interface, and nothing else competes with the enemy sprite. Compared with the dungeon boss frame, this one shows the ATB bars at a cleaner read (all three party members' bars visible at once) and makes the escape option explicit: fleeing is always one corner tap away, even in a boss fight. The design lesson is consistency under scale: whether the enemy is a frog or a screen-filling demon, the player reads the same five elements in the same places.
