What to study

The bottom-anchored variant of the same dialogue box, and the only frame in this set that shows the Steam version's persistent MENU tab in the top-right corner: the menu is reachable mid-conversation without leaving the scene, a small PC-port affordance that the original console presentation never needed. The box itself holds three full lines of quest talk (the Golden Hammer, crafted from a golden tree) in the same flat textured style as the top-anchored box, which shows the system's one real rule: the box docks to whichever edge keeps it off the speaker, and everything else about it stays identical. Frame at about 1:35 in the ESRB EN Launch Trailer (Steam). No trailer caption is overlaid on this frame.

  • party of four sprites in a dark forest clearing, one green imp-like NPC at the right edge
