What to study
This is the game's thesis in one frame: a library as a building you restore room by room, with the work still to do drawn as grey dashed slots in the plan itself. Most base builders put construction in a menu; Book of Hours puts it in the architecture, the crossed hammer-and-wrench rooms are both the map and the to-do list. The Summer card hovering above ('The Grail at her greatest') adds the second axis: time passes as seasons, and seasons are cards too, so the calendar, the building and the deck all speak the same card language. Frame at about 0:32 in Welcome to Hush House (Steam; scene-change survivor v0_0007).

Screen inventory
- the widest view in the set: the whole of Hush House as one dollhouse grid, chapel with four stained-glass Hours windows at top, red salons, stairwells, the green-tiled infirmary, gardens at bottom, the observatory wing at right, dozens of rooms in one frame, each a painted miniature with its own furniture
- the grid's unfinished state is drawn in: a left column of grey dashed rooms each stamped with the crossed hammer-and-wrench renovation icon, so the player's long-term project (restore the ruined library) is visible as empty slots in the plan, not as a progress bar elsewhere
- a season card tooltip at top right reads SUMMER, 'The Grail at her greatest', the game's calendar as a card, with its own icon and flavour line, hovering over the house it governs
- the bottom dock is at its most encyclopedic here: Health [Half-Drowned] at 59.3s, Ereb, Trist, Fet [fatigued], Sickle & Eclipse, Lesson: Fucine, Lesson: Door & Wall, Anbary & Lapidary, Applebright Euphonies, Bells & Brazieries, Blacksmith's Assistance, Coffinmaker's Assistance, A Letter to the Librarian, Midwife's Assistance, the whole card economy in one strip
- the top bar's time track and the pause/play controls sit at centre top, small against the house: at this zoom the building is the interface and the clock is an accessory
