What to study
The stained-glass windows are the most economical lore UI in the set: four gods, four windows, no codex entry needed, the Hours are part of the furniture, and selecting the chapel frames them like a triptych. The gold (rather than pink) selection outline is the detail worth stealing: if selection colour can distinguish room kinds, the highlight becomes information, not just affordance. And the bottom dock's changed contents, a later, winter deck with Health [Freezing] counting down, show progression as a changing hand, not a rising number. Frame at about 0:47 in Welcome to Hush House (Steam; scene-change survivor v0_0010).

Screen inventory
- the gold-outlined selected room is the chapel: four tall stained-glass windows, each naming one of the game's Hours, THE WATCHMAN, THE MENISCATE, THE SUN-IN-RAGS, THE MADRUGAD, painted in distinct palettes above an organ, an altar and rows of chairs, so the game's gods are literally windows in the building
- the selection colour differs from the laboratory frame's pink: gold here, marking a room of special significance, which suggests the highlight colour itself carries meaning (ordinary selection vs. sacred or story room)
- the room is labelled from above: WINDLIT GALLERY on the floor above, and the surrounding rooms, the harp room, the mirror gallery, the red salons, the mortuary tiles at right, show how varied the house's room types are at a glance
- the bottom dock has shifted to a later game state than the earlier frames: Health [Freezing] at 38.5s, Wist, Shapt, Lesson: Anbary & Lapidary, Henavek, Desires & Dissolutions, Ericapaean, Coil & Chasm, Sky Stories, Crown, Florin, Nun's Assistance, Blacksmith's Assistance, a second, later deck that shows progression without a level number anywhere
