What to study
The character screen is Battle Brothers' centre of gravity: one man, his body as a diagram, and everything the company owns, on a single screen that never sends you to another room. The paper doll makes even emptiness legible, unfilled slots are drawn as pale outlines, so a missing helmet reads as a hole in the man. The stash beside him is an economy of decay: nearly every weapon, shield and haunch of meat carries a condition percentage or a dwindling stack count, because in this game equipment is a wasting asset and the inventory is a countdown. Below, a two-column stat block compresses a full RPG character sheet into numbers you can compare at a glance, and the roster strip along the bottom, fifteen portraits with mood faces and level-up stars, empty slots as tents, quietly turns the screen into the company's org chart: any brother is one click sideways. The frame around it all is a memento mori, a knight and a skeleton standing guard over the paperwork. Even the XP bar refuses to be a number: it is an instruction, 'Click here to level up!'. Frame at 1:00.1 in the Launch Trailer (scene-change survivor v1_0002).

Screen inventory
- the name plate: GUNTRAM THE OUTCAST, level 8, and an XP bar that carries no number, it reads 'Click here to level up!'
- the paper doll at left: painted slots for head, body armour, main hand (a sword), off hand (a red heraldic shield) and accessory, ammunition and bag slots, the empty ones drawn as faint outline glyphs, so absence has a shape
- two icon rows under the doll: his active skills, then his traits and status effects, ending in a small green mood face
- the stat block in two dense columns: armour 140/140 and 150/150, hitpoints 107/107 in red, ammunition 0/9, fatigue 0/92, morale 'Steady', against melee skill 64, ranged skill 31, defences 23 and 23, damage 40–45, and single figures down to vision 6
- the Stash tab (its sibling tab reads 'Perks (1)'): a grid of the company's weapons, shields, helmets, provisions and tools, nearly every cell stamped with a condition percentage (88%, 60%, 27%, 87%, 95%, 54%, 70%) or a stack count (2/4, 3/4, 1/10, 10/10), over a filter-icon row and the counters 35/108 stash weight and 12/12 roster
- the roster strip along the bottom: fifteen brother portraits in three rows, each with a mood face, several carrying yellow level-up stars, and the empty slots drawn as tents
- the whole screen is flanked by two stone statues, a blindfolded knight at left, a grinning skeleton at right, standing over the world map the screen floats above
