What to study
Five seconds after the stash frame, the same screen answers a different question, not what Guntram carries, but what he is becoming, and it answers by swapping a single pane. The Perks tab replaces the item grid with seven tiered rows of circular medallions, a tech tree drawn as a phalanx: six across at the top, eleven across at the widest middle row, three at the foot, and not one connecting line, progression here is not a path through a graph but a shelf of hard choices per tier, each row a level's worth of mutually exclusive identity. Colour does the state work: almost every icon is grey stone, and the few that carry colour are the ones already bought or newly in reach, so the eye lands on the decision, not the catalogue. The tab itself keeps the books, 'Perks (1)', one point unspent, while the left half of the screen pointedly does not change: same paper doll, same roster, only the numbers moved by the level just taken (hitpoints 111/111, experience now shown as 7816/9000 instead of an invitation to click). Progression is a pane inside the man, not a separate screen. Frame at 1:05.0 in the Launch Trailer (manual extraction; at 1:04.5 the cursor is still on the Perks tab over the stash, and by 1:05.5 the trailer has already opened the Unlock Perk confirmation over the grid).

Screen inventory
- the same character-screen chassis as the stash frame five seconds earlier, with the 'Perks (1)' tab now lit, the '(1)' counts the unspent perk point, and the XP bar now numeric: 7816 / 9000
- seven tiered rows of circular perk medallions fill the pane where the stash grid sat: rows of 6, 7, 5, 11, 5, 5 and 3 icons, a tree drawn as a formation, widest in the middle, with no connecting lines; tier is read from vertical position alone
- nearly every medallion is monochrome stone; a handful carry colour, the ones already owned or within reach, including a small portrait-faced icon in the second row
- nothing else on the screen changes: the same paper doll (sword, green armour, red shield), the same roster strip at 12/12, and the stat block updated by the level just taken, hitpoints now 111/111, melee skill 67
- the brass hand cursor rests on a second-row icon, mid-decision
