What to study

The living-room HUD at rest, and the one frame that shows the HUD's full control set: album, camera, and the house-plan icon that opens the floor-plan overlay, a third control the bathroom keeper never shows. The room is mid-unpack, open boxes in the foreground with packing paper still inside, the rest of the room already placed, so the boxes themselves are the progress indicator. No item is carried and no ghost preview shows, which is exactly the contrast with the carried-toaster and ghost-drag keepers: the same quiet chrome, between gestures rather than during one. Frame at about 0:30 in the Launch Trailer (Steam; scene-change survivor v0_0003), inspected at full resolution (1920x1080); the three top-left icons, both zoom magnifiers, both room pictograms and the open boxes legible; no trailer text or marketing overlay in frame.

Screen inventory

  • the HUD shows its full top-left cluster: three small pixel icons, an album book with a pencil, a camera, and a house-plan icon that opens the floor-plan overlay, where the bathroom keeper shows only the first two, so this frame completes the HUD's control set
  • the room is mid-unpack: two cardboard boxes sit open in the foreground, one with its packing paper still inside, and the living room around them is mostly placed, dressmaker's dummy, sewing machine, terrarium shelf, so the boxes, not a progress bar, say how much is left
  • neighbour-room pictograms ride the screen edges as in the bathroom keeper: a bed with a left arrow on the left margin, a fridge with a right arrow on the right, each neighbour advertised by one piece of its furniture, never by a room name
  • nothing is carried: no item hangs at the cursor and no ghost preview shows, which is what separates this frame from the bathroom keeper's carried toaster and the Accolades keeper's translucent ghost, the same HUD at rest between placements
