What to study

The joke of this frame is that nothing in the UI panics. The ward is haunted - ghost silhouettes drift between the GP office and the reception desks, ectoplasm puddles glow on the tiles - and the HUD treats it as administration: the top-right tracker files the haunting under a Research Licence ('Get Hospital Level to 3' Done, 'Upgrade a Machine' 0/1) and a Ghost Capture project card whose View Project button routes it to the Superbug Network, leader 'SEGA Developer'. The bottom corners keep the same calm ledger as the reception frame, one season later (badge 22, $148,906, JUN 17, two unread mails), and the hospital radio even gets a music toast - 'Miami Swing, Cuticle Karate' - because in Two Point Hospital the soundtrack is a system worth surfacing. Two floating icons over the rooms (a doctor's coat, a staff-and-capsule pictogram) state staffing needs as pictograms the player can read at corridor distance. Emergencies here are not alerts; they are queue items with a project attached. Frame at about 0:38 in the Superbug Initiative - Attention Grabber video (Steam), a scene-change survivor at 38.2s; the source frame carries a small 'Development Build' string at its bottom-right corner, disclosed here rather than cropped out.

Screen inventory

  • top right, the objectives stack: 'Research Licence' with 'Get Hospital Level to 3' ticked Done in green and 'Upgrade a Machine 0/1' open, and beneath it the 'Ghost Capture' project card - 'Learning Machine Learning, Leader: SEGA Developer' - with a blue View Project button and a bug icon at its corner
  • the same bottom-corner HUD as the reception frame, one season on: bottom left Rooms / Items / Hire badged 22; bottom right $148,906, Reputation, K 117,770, Level 3, JUN 17, mail icons one badged 2, and the 'Development Build' source string at the corner
  • above the money, the music toast: a note icon and 'Miami Swing - Cuticle Karate', the hospital radio credited like a track notification
  • two floating staff icons over the rooms at centre top - a doctor's coat and a staff-and-capsule icon - the game's shorthand for which staff a room or job is calling for
  • the ward itself mid-haunting: white ghost silhouettes and glowing ectoplasm puddles across the corridors, a GP office and reception desks carrying on around them

Source details

Fetched 2026-10-21. verified 2026-10-21: frame inspected at full resolution (1920x1080 native) - genuine in-game hospital HUD, settled and legible (Research Licence rows, Ghost Capture card and View Project button, $148,906, JUN 17 calendar, Miami Swing toast and both floating staff icons all readable); a sibling frame at 40.3s shows the same panel stack over a closer ghost-capture shot and was held as the alternate rather than a second keeper of the same type; the 'Development Build' string at bottom right is part of the source capture and is disclosed in the study note; no trailer typography overlays the frame
