What to study
The Superbug Initiative is Two Point Hospital's multiplayer research mode, and its screen refuses to look like a tech tree. The research project is drawn as a social graph: a hub node of people, linked by green lines to a petri dish, a heart wearing a clock-and-exclamation badge, and a bone with a medical cross - each node badged with how many collaborators it needs - while the nodes nobody has reached stay grey question marks. Inviting help is a contacts list, not a lobby: the Invite Collaborators modal lists real photo avatars by username (ben.huskins, Ricardo Da Force, lauren.woodroffe, jo.koehler), one already WAITING in a slot above, and the project leader is a crowned SEGA tile - the developers playing inside their own UI. The right rail completes the reframing: a Chat / Log toggle, in-character joke messages from Albert Crank and Sophie Nova, a 'Post message...' box with a green Send button and a 140 counter - a project-management tool styled as a group chat, because the mechanic being managed is other people. Frame at about 0:30 in the Superbug Initiative - Attention Grabber video (Steam), a scene-change survivor at 29.7s: the trailer presents the screen slightly zoomed, so the outermost project tabs crop at the frame edges; the graph, modal and chat are complete and legible. Probes at 30s and 31s show the same settled screen a beat later, the invite list scrolled one row as ben.huskins is accepted.

- top, the cyan ribbon banner 'Superbug Network'; below it the project tabs - 'The Gyro-Nut', the gold crowned '(L)earning Machine Learning' tab with its red X, and a wide + tab for a new project (the trailer framing crops the outer tabs at the frame edges)
- centre left, the project node graph on a dark grid: a people hub node linked by bright green lines to a petri-dish node badged 1, a heart node with clock and ! badges badged 3, and a bone-and-cross node badged 2, with grey ? nodes still unknown beyond them
- centre, the 'Invite Collaborators' modal over the graph: photo-avatar rows ben.huskins (green online dot), Ricardo Da Force, lauren.woodroffe and jo.koehler, each a blue pill with a red X close button on the modal
- above the modal, three blue + invite slots, a photo avatar marked WAITING, and a crowned black SEGA tile - the project leader drawn as a player tile
- right rail, the Chat / Log toggles and the project chat: Albert Crank ('Did you know that thinking about the size of this project is making my head hurt?...') and Sophie Nova, over a 'Post message...' field, a green Send button and a 140 counter
- bottom left, two machine icons and a five-star project rating row, all greyed - the project's hardware and score live on the same screen as its people
