What to study

The one full battle HUD either Steam trailer ever shows, held for about a second: Triangle Strategy frames its tactical information at the edges of an HD-2D mine diorama and leaves the field itself clean. Everything a turn decision needs is present but peripheral, who is acting (Serenoa's portrait card: Lv. 31 Swordfighter, HP 320/320, four gold diamonds), who acts next (a nine-portrait turn-order strip on a timeline, the current unit enlarged and numbered 20), and what the ground is worth (top right: the Call Station tile at Height 14, trait Freezable, in this game height is damage, so the number is the forecast's first term). What the frame pointedly does not contain is an attack forecast: no hit-chance or damage-preview panel opens at any point in either trailer, so this HUD in its resting state is the closest the trailers come to the prediction layer. Frame at about 0:13 in the ESRB EN Launch video (Steam), a pipeline scene-change survivor (candidates/v0_0006.png at 13.0s, copied to the workdir root as battle-hud-mine-serenoa.png); the same battle and HUD recur near the end of the ESRB EN Pre-Purchase video (manual probe at 211s matches).

Screen inventory

  • bottom left, the acting unit's card in two parts: a painted portrait tile (Serenoa, Lv. 31, EXP1 over a thin experience bar) beside a dark panel with a sword glyph and 'Serenoa', the class line 'Swordfighter', four gold diamonds, and HP 320/320 over a full white HP bar
  • along the bottom, the turn-order strip: nine portrait chips in act order on a thin timeline, each with gold diamond pips beneath it; Serenoa's chip (fifth) is enlarged, outlined in blue chevrons, and carries the number 20 above it, with a square marker on the timeline under it
  • top right, the cursor tile's readout in two lines: 'Call Station' with a small station glyph and 'Height 14', then under a ruled line the terrain trait 'Freezable', height and surface priced in the corner, not in a panel
  • the field itself: a lamp-lit mine diorama of rail tracks, carts, ladders and stacked rock terraces crowded with a dozen-plus sprites; a floating damage number '90' and two small red enemy HP bars over units at centre left are the only other marks, no command menu and no forecast panel is open
