What to study

The third state of Syx's room language: not the ghost, not the tint, but the outline, two blue lines around a finished room, used here on a warehouse so large it dwarfs the library and temple plots beside it. The restraint is the lesson. A game that simulates every crate and every hauler could bury this screen in counts; instead the selection says one thing, extent, and lets the visible crates, the bare dirt and the citizens mid-haul tell you the rest. Read together with the designation ghost and the blue room tint from the same trailer sequence, the three frames show a complete planning grammar, draw it, diagram it, bound it, that never opens a window. Frame at about 0:39 in the Sacrifice of Bob (Steam; scene-change survivor v1_0015).

Screen inventory

  • a double blue outline, a segmented outer rail and a plain inner line, traces one enormous rectangular warehouse and, nested inside it, a second smaller room's outline: selection is drawn as a border, not a fill, so the interior stays fully visible
  • inside the border the warehouse is honestly half-finished: rows of stacked crates fill the northern half while the southern floor is still bare dirt with citizens hauling goods in, the outline claims the whole planned extent before the stock arrives
  • the neighbours frame the room's civic rank: at left a library whose shelves hold rows of coloured books, at right a temple complex with shrines, a fountain court and a purple-carpeted hall, one storage room is the same size as both institutions' plots
  • no panel, label or count appears anywhere: the only interface marks in the whole frame are the two blue borders, yet they answer the player's actual question, how big is this room, and what falls inside it
