What to study
The same heat-map system at whole-zoo scale. Where the habitat view (planet-zoo-0) judges one enclosure, this layer recolours everything the player owns, and the countryside beyond it, as a single orange field: trees, terrain and hills stop being scenery and become values. The reading is done by contrast alone. Two habitat pools glow pale cyan-white, the cool end of the scale drawn as literal cold spots in the orange, one wrapped around two dark trees at lower left, one beside a building at upper right; near the centre a building roof sits in dark red with a deeper red spill at its base, the hot end; and in the open savanna habitat at right, the animals are dark silhouettes next to a pale oval hotspot on the ground, while the guests shrink to specks on the paths. It is the Planet Coaster team's data-overlay language pushed further than Planet Coaster took it: no legend, no panel, no numbers, just a zoo you read by temperature of colour. The trailer shows no legend or layer label at any timestamp, so this layer is described by what is observable rather than by a menu name. Frame at about 1:29 in the Planet_Zoo_Launch_Trailer (Steam), manually extracted at 89.0s: the montage cycles a layer roughly every half second (about 88.7-90.7s) as crossfades inside one continuous aerial shot, and the scene-change pass caught no frame of any layer. The frame carries the trailer's small 'IN-GAME FOOTAGE' caption at bottom centre, disclosed here; it is the publisher's burn-in, not game UI.
