What to study
The whole HUD is one corner and two rows: five white masks for health strung on a silk thread, the dark red silk spool that powers abilities, and a single needle icon for the equipped tool. Nothing else competes with the scene, which is the point: Silksong trusts the hand drawn world to carry navigation and mood, and the HUD only reports the three numbers that matter in the moment (health, silk, tool). The masks hang from the spool motif, so even the health bar is dressed in the game's silk theme. Frame at about 3.0s in the Release Trailer (Steam).
