What to study

Pet progression is drawn as a board game printed on parchment. Each species gets its own track, the top strip flips between Deathclaw, Cat and Dog with shoulder buttons, and the Cat's track lays out thirty diamond nodes in four rows, every diamond tagged with the level that unlocks it, running from 5 all the way to 200, so the whole long-term promise of the system is visible on one screen. Selecting a node (level 5, lit yellow) fills a fixed detail column at right: the lock state ('Unlock at level (5)'), the reward's name (Baits Finder 1), a big emblem with a three-star rank, and one plain sentence of effect text, 'lets your Cat find 2 Improved Baits every 30 minutes', a passive gathering buff stated as a rate, not a flavour line. Progress is totalled along the bottom as '0/5040XP' between page markers 1 and 2, admitting the board continues off-screen. Where the Pip-Boy roster is an instrument, this screen is a printed card: same system, deliberately different paper. The frame carries the source video's own banner, 'DEVELOPMENT IN PROGRESS. PET UI MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.' Frame at about 3:09 in the World Pets overview (YouTube), pipeline candidate candidates/v0_0069.png at 188.5s.

  • the level-5 node highlighted in yellow as the selected node
  • a detail panel at right for the selected node: 'Unlock at level (5)' with a lock icon, the title 'Baits Finder 1', a large cat-head-and-star emblem with three stars (one lit), 'Level 5', 'Passive Buff', and the description 'Baits Finder (Rank1) lets your Cat find 2 Improved Baits every 30 minutes.'
