What to study

The night arena frame shows what the markers are for: in the dark, the orange enemy markers and their stagger pips are the readable layer, and the HUD itself barely changes from the daylight frame. That stability is the design point. Whether the arena is dusk or midnight, the diamond, the saw arc and the ammo counter sit in exactly the same places, so the player never re-learns the layout mid-fight; only the world markers change, because only the threats change. Frame at about 0:19 in Developer Direct EN (Steam). Disclosure: the trailer's semi-transparent 'IN-GAME FOOTAGE' caption sits across the bottom centre, overlapping the health numbers, which stay legible through it.

Screen inventory

  • the same bottom-centre diamond, here reading 50 armor and 100 health, with the shield-saw arc at lower left and a shotgun icon with 9 shells at lower right
  • three shielded soldier enemies glow as orange markers mid-frame, each topped with a small white stagger pips row, so the parryable targets read before their bodies do
  • a green diamond objective marker sits at the right frame edge and the top compass strip reads S, keeping orientation without a minimap
  • the scene is a rain-slick ruined cloister at night, fires burning in the windows above, the Slayer's shotgun low at right
