What to study
The enemy turn gets the same board, read from the other side. The Kraken's moves are shown as equipment cards whose names are withheld ('???'), the player is trusted to plan from slot conditions alone: an EVEN slot still waiting, a 6 already placed and flagged 'Cursed!', a 5 placed on the last card, and one card already resolved and darkened with its 3 and 4 still inside. That is enemy intent expressed in the game's one shared language of dice and slots, with no separate telegraph icon system. The frame's sharpest idea is at the left edge: shock, the status locking the Thief's equipment, is cleared not with a button but with two more dice slots ('Place a dice to release shock'), so healing a status and dealing damage draw on the exact same pool of rolled dice, every cure is visibly an attack not made. Frame at about 0:11.5 in the Reunion Trailer (Steam; manual extraction from the 2 fps probe pass over the window 9–13.5s).

Screen inventory
- under the ENEMY MOVES banner at top centre, the Kraken's equipment is dealt face-down as grey cards titled only '???', the names are hidden, and all the player can plan around is the slot conditions: a hatched EVEN slot on the centre card, a placed die showing 6 marked 'Cursed!' on the next, and a placed 5 on the card at right
- one enemy card below centre has already fired and gone dark, its two spent dice (a 3 and a 4) still sitting in it, resolved enemy equipment greys out instead of leaving the board, so the enemy's remaining threats can be counted at a glance
- the left column is not equipment at all but two stacked black slots reading 'Place a dice to release shock', removing a status effect costs the player one of their own dice, in direct competition with spending that die on damage
- the Thief anchors the bottom-left at 32/36 with a glowing BERSERK bar and a star + lightning-2 counter row beneath it, his dice pool marked x4 and his two unspent dice (a 5 and a 1) waiting at bottom centre; the Kraken's 44/44 bar and x4 counter sit top-right, TURN 2, END TURN at the corners
